Rutgers (Basketball)

#RutgersTough I pray for Coach Pikiell to beat cancer. He’s one HELLOVA man from everything I’ve heard, and I was lucky to meet and talk with him once.

Sure the college sports system is broken, but these kids absolutely deserve every dollar they get. If conferences want to be in bed with the media, and if these coaches are getting paid their rate, then there really is no argument against why players shouldn’t be making what they are. I might not like the direction of the transfer portal, and miss what Rutgers built with its four year players, but it was time for them to be paid. College basketball is truly minor league basketball now with logos you recognize. I will always love and support Rutgers. I will always love March Madness. But I’m all about the NBA now with my hoops.

I think Rutgers should compete for a March Madness bid, but ultimately I think this is an NIT / The Crown (lmaooooooo the Crown) team. I would be disappointed with no post season. They have a mix of scoring, and I think they have the big man spot in good standing. I’ll try and get to the RAC soon but as a father of one it’s hard to pick my spots. Just beat Seton Hall and make the Big Ten slate entertaining!

Rutgers (football)

Rutgers actually competed vs Michigan but they made Tommy Carr look like CJ Carr. Onward to Jump Around Wisconsin.

Jaguars

Duval has to get some big guys this trade deadline! They might need both a 3T DT, and a nose tackle. There’s buzz they are sniffing around at safety and guard as well. It’s unrealistic to think they will get four bodies, but the window is there for a Lombardi and I hope they at least get a nose tackle. I’d do a wishlist but there seems to be so many names flirted so I’ll trust Gladstone.

The run D was built off of DHam who is now out for the year. I know the Ravens QB situation is a mess, but you have to think they cover the 10 on the backs of Derrick Henry with a hole in the middle of the Jags defense. 10 is a lottttt for a road team on a short week. The Jaguars are a dominant bunch who’s been able to rest Trevor Lawrence 8 of their last 15 games, but my gut is Jags only win by a touchdown. Inner Circle knows I hit Travis Hunter +2000 in London and BTJ +650 last week – Trevor Lawrence ATTD +400!!

Goose where are the picks IDC about your fandom pieces. Uhhhhh well I talked myself out of every pick so I’m going #ByeWeek

Liked Notre Dame but with Toney out everyone is flocking to bet the Irish. Liked Utah but line went 5.5 to 4.5 and I got scared on the BYU movement. Liked the Jets to cover 10 but Chiefs are off two L’s so it feels wrong time to fade. Packers are rolling but I always get Patriots games wrong. I’ve been fading Vikings but the Texans give the Bills problems and the Vikings are built similar so maybe the Vikings D really disturbs Josh Allen. Maybe those 5 all cover and I miss out on a 5-0 week but I’ll cheer from the sidelines. #ByeWeek ! Golfing this week on Saturday – touching grass!
