Miami Ohio +2.5 v UNLV – Miss. UGH. Backup QB lost by 1.
Nebraska +1.5 v Michigan – Miss.
Cowboys -1.5 at Bears – Miss.
Chargers -2.5 v Broncos – HIT!

Rutgers heads to Minnesota in a pivotal game of this season. Last week was a crushing blow on so many levels, and a loss at Minnesota will really start to put bowl hopes in jeopardy. Rutgers defense is flat out soft, but the good news is, I think Minne’s O stinks. They only put up 23 v Buffalo and 14 at Cal, and while their Freshman QB has great potential, he isn’t showing it at the moment. Athan returns to Minnesota on a team that gave up on him, and I think the Senior QB is ready to show what they are missing. Last year hosting Minnesota, Athan threw for 3 touchdowns in a win and I can see something similar. We moved the ball very well vs Iowa, and a few interesting play calls here and there had us stall at bad times. The hope is after last week to bring the aggression this week, because again, Rutgers can really sling it. I don’t think Minnesota has the firepower to go punch for punch with our O. Our D is super super suspect, but this is the kind of game that Strong, Duff, and DT, and win us.

UConn -4 at Buffalo

Is UConn offense a mid major wagon?! They only put up 20 at Syracuse, but are just about averaging 44 the other three games. Buffalo’s QB has a bad foot, and their backup is rough. The Senior has 10 total completions 0 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Buffalo might have a pretty strong defense, but the lack of QB play, with an RB averaging 3.7 a carry, I don’t see where they score points. UConn is taking care of the ball and is one of five teams without a turnover. Imagine averaging 37 points through four games and no turnovers! As the game wears on UConn will break through more than they do not, and in the end they will pile on enough points to win comfortably.

Ravens -2.5 at Chiefs

After speaking to a sharp player, Bird has helped me land on the Ravens this weekend. Derrick Henry has now had two key fumbles in the Ravens two losses. He had three total fumbles the last two seasons combined. The odds are Henry will not fumble the rest of the season, and I believe the Ravens are about to get rolling. Lamar Jackson is playing incredible football right now and they are being held back by timely mistakes. Through three weeks, it’s clear that the Ravens are more talented and explosive than the Chiefs. The Chiefs offense is in trouble. They have no run game, and Mahomes isn’t elevating his receivers at the moment. The NFL is year-to-year and this year’s Chiefs really does not feel like last years. Worthy and Rice will be back soon, but if Worthy plays he probably isn’t 100%, and Rice is back week 7. I don’t see how the Chiefs can score with the Ravens. The Chiefs defense is strong but every year Chris Jones gets a year older, and so far in this season, I am not sure he is the same game wrecker. This Ravens team probably doesn’t score under 21 points all season, and right now it’s like pulling teeth to see the Chiefs score 3 touchdowns in a game.
