Seasonal depression stinks. It’s such a weird feeling leaving work and it’s dark and then sometimes feeling you wasted a day because it’s dark and … okay let me save that for therapy. Once December hits we get some darn good professional football at least. The playoff race heats up, the fantasy playoffs begin soon, the games just feel more meaningful. I love college football but Saturday NFL games just hit different because as a whole friend group we like the NFL more so the vibes get higher. I’m a week too soon to shoutout Saturday games as we have three next week but I already cannot wait to vibe with the boys and watch! But I’m not bypassing this slate. We basically get two primetime games on Sunday. Bills at Chiefs is a 4pm “forget about RedZone” kind of game. Niners host the Seahawks which has appeal but my focus will 100% be with the Bills Chiefs! I still want to believe Dion and the Bills can make a run. I don’t like that they are playing the Chiefs after a loss but it is what it is. They dug themselves in a hole losing to a Zach Wilson Jets and at New England so they cannot afford to lose at KC. I have NO clue why Sean McDermott brought up 9/11 in his 2019 team meeting, but that’s now an added distraction. And, if I’m putting the pieces together, someone in the Bills organization had to leak that to make it easier to fire McDermott either after a potential loss at KC, or end of the year if they miss the postseason. I’ll be rooting for the Bills but I don’t feel good about it! My brother is a lifelong Cowboys fan so Sunday night should be fun. I’m an Eagles hater, their coach is wild, the tush push isn’t aesthetically appealing, and they are the best. Neutral people don’t like the best! They have one hellova squad, and I do think they cover Sunday night. But, I’m rooting for Dallas and I don’t have to nor bet every game, so why put money against a super hot Cowboys when I’ll be rooting for them. That’s where my heart is at for the two mega games this weekend, but let’s see if we can build a little bankroll to play some fun props for the night cap.

Raiders +3 v Vikings
Joshua Dobbs is 3-11 in the last 365 days and is coming off of a 4 interception showing vs the Chicago Bears. The Raiders lost two in a row but they just went to Miami and hosted Kansas City. Both teams are rested off of a bye, but I think it’ll help the Raiders out more. Rookie Aidan OConnell has shown flashes to stick around in this league and the week off was probably a good reset after his first four starts. The Raiders have been feeding Josh Jacobs like a true workhorse lately as well, so the week off probably did wonders for his body. Justin Jefferson is set to return for the Vikings, and that’ll give Dobbs another weapon, but this is a quarterback averaging 200 yards this season. The Raiders have a clear advantage in the run game against these two lower tier quarterbacks. These are two of the worst pass defenses in the league so I do expect the ball in the air, but Head Coach Antonio Pierce will stick to smash mouth football to set up the pass. These two teams also turn the ball over the most in the NFL, so give me the team that I think will be more physical than finesse, having less turnover worthy opportunities.

Giants +6.5 v Packers
I cannot believe I’m backing a quarterback named Tommy Cutlets, especially vs a Packers team that won three in a row including two national television games vs the Lions and Chiefs. The Packers are the better team, but the Giants are home, feisty, and the NFL has a weird way of giving you highs one week and lows the next.
Jordan Love has throw for 8 touchdowns to 0 interceptions in his three game win streak. In the nine games prior he threw 14 touchdowns to 10 interceptions. Yes, young QBs get better with more reps as the season went on, but he’s very due for a turnover even against the weaker Giants secondary. He’ll also probably be missing his deep threat Christian Watkins who spaces the field. If Watkins cannot go, the Packers will have to play Giants style football, pound the rock and keep passes short. The Giants will give a healthy dose of Saquon on Monday night. Last game, a game in which the Giants beat the Patriots, something was different about this Giants offense though. They let Jalin Hyatt get vertical, which created space for the whole offense to function. Hyatt will need to get 5+ targets again so that the safeties don’t creep up and they’ll respect the pass. Jaire Alexander, who on Friday wore a WWE belt and claimed the Packers will win out, will be in a scare Monday night.
