It wasn’t the best College Football season for me. But thats the past and we continue onward with the NFL!
Titans -4 vs Jaguars
The Titans had some midweek drama firing their GM, but I feel that will have no impact on the game. Firing the coach, yes I’d be concerned, but not with letting go the GM. The Titans and Derrick Henry own Jacksonville. The Jags run defense started out hot this year but they are not that good of a unit. In Derrick Henry’s last 4 games he isnt even averaging 3 yards per carry. This is alarming but this is also a great bounce back spot. Lets also look at the Jags offense. Trevor Lawrence isnt practicing this week but is expected to play on Sunday. A track record of Titans owning Duval and a banged up Trevor Lawrence. Give me the Titans to win by a touchdown +.
Chargers +3 vs Dolphins
The Chargers do not have much of a home field advantage but being +3 at home vs an East Coast team does feel disrespectful. This East Coast team played at San Fran last week and has been staying in California the week. I’m not a fan of that, living away from the fam and in a hotel for a prolonged period. Three of the Dolphins most valuable pieces, WR Ty Hill, LT Terron Armstead and QB Tua Tagoviloa, are all questionable. Ty Hill has an illness he should play, Armstead has a pec injury and will try and play, and Tua’s ankle injury has him limited. The 6-6 Chargers have a -37 point differential. They are 2-4 their last 6 and are not looking like a playoff team. This is must win for them to turn their season around. Mike Williams returns this week and Keenan Allen will play his fourth straight. The Chargers had the injury bug on offense but they look like they are getting healthy. If the Chargers get DT Sebastian Joseph Day playing they’ll win this one outright.
Thank you,
Goose
