Cowboys -4.5 at Eagles o/u 43.5. Kickoff Saturday 8:15pm
The Play: Eagles +4.5
Lets start with a fairly meaningless game. I’m taking the Eagles in this showdown getting 4.5 points at home. Both teams will not be at full strength, with players resting, injured, and some with covid. Dallas’s losses are pretty extreme. Three of their main players not playing are DROY Micah Parsons, All Pro LT Tyron Smith, and ballhawk Trevon Diggs. The Eagles will be without some players too, so I expect a sloppy game. Dallas feels like they are mailing it in more, and I expect Dak, Zeke, and a few others to rest the 2nd half. Mike McCarthy is a veteran head coach and he has some playoff games to win. The Eagles have the 2nd and 3rd best quarterback in this matchup so if Hurts rests the 2nd half, enter American icon Gardner Minshew. I just feel with the Eagles and Jalen Hurts “rent is due” culture, they will play more to win. The Cowboys are risking playoff seeding and wont bow down, but I see Philly taking it from them.

Niners +4.5 at Rams o/u 44.5. Kickoff Sunday 4:25pm
The Play: Niners +4.5
The Niners are in a win and in, lose and out (if the Saints beat the Falcons earlier). The Rams will clinch the NFCW with a win, and a loss I believe will put them in the Wild Card, if the Cardinals take care of the Panthers. That being said, give me the hungry Niners. These two teams faced off November 15 and the Niners won 31-10. I expect a closer game, but the Niners have the formula to beat the Rams. The Rams are a team I picked to go to the Super Bowl to face the Chiefs in the beginning of the season. I wouldn’t have made this pick after I watched them play a little because the Rams lack physicality. I don’t even want to look at the stats; I bet the Rams grade out well, but when a team comes in with a strong identity I feel the Rams get pushed around. Thats what my eye test says and with them facing the NFC’s best run team, I want the Niners. Jimmy G, Trey Lance, or whoever, I want the Niners. Eli Mitchell is healthy, Deebo and George Kittle are a walking mismatch, and Kyle Juszczck is a beast. And when Nick Bosa puts his hand in the dirt, I can see Matt Stafford speeding up that eternal clock and coughing the ball up.

Chargers -3 at Raiders o/u 50. Kickoff Sunday 8:20pm
The Play: Raiders +3
Derek Carr Legacy Game!! I’m feeling some disrespect here as the home team is 3 point dogs! A lot of the stats do point to the Chargers though. The Raiders want to throw the ball, the Chargers are suspect vs the run. The Raiders wont blitz, where Herbert is very effective against a 4man rush. But despite the Chargers being #8 in Redzone touchdown %, I dont know if i trust Brandon Staley to make the right decisions in his first playoff game. Sure Coach Bissachi is an Interim coach, but I see him taking the points when needed. There is a big worry that Jim Harbaugh being rumored to the Raiders will distract this team and the coach, but the Raiders have been through hell this season already. The Chargers had their shot with the Chiefs three weeks ago, and dropped a game to the Texans two weeks ago. We are rocking with Derek Carr and his legacy game Sunday night.
