College Football Special
Boston College Pitt Over 43.5 – Both of these teams are coming off narrow defeats, so both mustve had an intense week of practice. Both of these teams present stout run defenses and are pretty identical in make up. One advantage for BC is, despite Pitt having the playmakers, BC has the coaching advantage. Jeff Hafley is going to be a home run for BC and his speciality is pass defense. Look for both teams to game plan towards passing the ball, and look for the timely turnovers to give the teams good field position. BC wins this in a nailbiter thanks to key short field scores.

Alright we are going with three unders this week! Scoring has been up in the NFL, but I really like these spots. Who doesn’t love good defense?!

Steelers Eagles Under 44.5 – Sunday night’s game of the Eagles and Niners was a close game but hard to watch. That over got legs when Nick Mullens fell apart. Now, the Steelers offense is better than the Niners, but the Eagles were probably lucky to get 26 that night. The Eagles aren’t healthy on offense and just can’t string together drives. They also have a great DLine, which neutralizes opponents’ run game. The Steelers might need to rely on the run after Big Ben’s comments. He feels the Steelers were slighted, in taking their bye week, on week 4. He said he was just getting in a rhythm, but now has to reset. Look for this game to be kept on the ground and feature a good amount of punts thanks to one great and one good defense.

Browns Colts Under 47 – The Browns are looking hot! Stefanski is a great coach, and they rely on the run. The Colts have a top 3 run defense though, and they are playing some elite defense. The loss of Chubb is huge to me. Kareem Hunt being the guy with D’Ernest Johnson is a big difference than Chubb with Hunt as a 1b. The Browns run defense has also been top5 and teams have found success throwing on them. But i just dont think Rivers has it anymore. Both teams are built off the run, both defenses stop the run. Again, I see punts not touchdowns.

Seahawks Vikings Under 57 – The Vikings are a hot mess and it’s been their secondary that has been most concerning. It seems like teams are slicing them up like swiss cheese. AND they have to go up against the MVP Frontrunner in Russell Wilson this week? Sheesh. I’m taking the under though because I don’t think the Seahawks defense is thattt bad. They played the Falcons Pats and Cowboys recently and those are three top10 offenses. The Vikings will have to slow it down in the first half if they want a chance and keep their defense rested. A great Wilson neutralizer is to feed Dalvin Cook.
Seahawks 31 Vikings 24
