Wow! Look I have to admit, I didn’t think we would get this far, but Week 1 went smooth! I can only hope and pray that weeks 2-17 go as smoothly! Sunday, I was chilling at the local family bar with SIX other Fantasy Leaguemates watching the games. Last season I won the Fantasy Championship so I was holding the trophy every step! The Korner had a nice afternoon, going 2-1. We couldn’t be more wrong on the Packers Vikings, but hey you win some and lose some!

Giants +5.5 at Bears – The Giants last three season’s have practically been a disaster, averaging a record of 4-12. Despite losing by 10, and scoring in a garbage time situation last Monday night, I almost feel the Giants played decent! We are getting 5.5 points in Chicago from a team led by Mitch Trubisky. The Bears did not impress me Sunday even though they won. Mitch was 13-25 for 153 yards and no touchdowns if you take out the 4th quarter and the offense was stalling. The Bears also let Adrian Peterson run for 93 yards on 14 carries, so Saquon should have a big bounceback game. If the Giants can establish the run, Daniel Jones will benefit off of Garrett’s play calling of some playaction. We should see a better Giants team in week 2. Giants 20 Bears 17.

Jets Niners Under 42 – The Jets offense was more than terrible Sunday. As much a Darnold guy I am, I can’t wait for him to be the next a Ryan Tannehill and shine on a competent team. The Niners come in 0-1 losing to a divisional foe. There their defense wasn’t as sharp as last seasons. And with their injured corners I think their defense still struggles. Add in an injured Kittle who will be hobbled and the Niners are in trouble. Thankfully this week they play the Jets. All in all, I think this will be an ugly game so I’ll say we stay under of the low total. The Niners will be playing at 10am local time to face a poor Jets team. Niners 23 Jets 10.

Eagles pk vs Rams – The Rams looked good Sunday night but I say they won’t look that consistently great. I don’t think it’s a hot take to say the Football Team’s pass rush is better than the Rams pass rush so I think the Eagles line holds better. Yes Donald will disrupt the middle, but they shouldn’t make much noise on the edge. The Rams weakness is linebackers. Hello Ertz and Goedert! I think the Eagles strengths play well in to the Rams weaknesses and I think the Eagles are a better team then their opponents. This is also another 10am game for the visiting team. I’m targeting the flights. Eagles 24 Rams 21.
