Week 15

The College Football season is coming to a close. I will not be picking a side on the Army Navy game, but I will be doing bowl games. My friend “The Take” (he wants to be like me I’m proud of him) will pick a side in all the bowl games. I’m probably going to stick with the format of 3 college games but I’ll keep y’all up-to-date on how the competition goes!

Panthers +6 vs Seahawks – The Panthers lost five in a row, and the Riverboat Ron era is now over. How will the team respond? I think the team will come out fighting, and make this a respectable game. Just a month and a half ago the Panthers were chilling at 5-3 looking like a playoff team. The collapse just feels like a bad run not a bad team. The Panthers should be able to score on the Seahawks, we just need the defense to play with an edge. Ultimately the Seahawks have Russell Wilson in a division race and should edge the Panthers. But if the Panthers manage a slow game relying on McCaffrey it should be a full 60 min battle. Seahawks 24 Panthers 20

Rams -1 vs Cowboys – The Rams and Cowboys are trending in opposite directions. Besides the Ravens beat down, the Rams defense has been baller! Jalen Ramsey takes away the #1, and Donald can wreak havoc on offensive lines. The Cowboys offensive line really hasn’t been that spectacular this year and Dak has had to shine to keep the offense afloat. With the Cowboys linebackers banged up, look for more balance out of the Rams offense. Gurley is being fed, and Goff has managed a good game lately. I think the Rams are peaking at the right time. Bills +2 at Steelers – “Pay your darn Bills on Buffalo this holiday season!!” This game should be ugly. We have two elite defenses battling in freezing temperatures in Pittsburgh. Like many stubborn people, I have yet to fear the Steelers. I do fear them now, but still think Buffalo is clicking. This really comes down to an offense led by Duck Hodges, a banged up James Connor, and an unlikely to play Juju. With Josh Allen and Devin Singletary playing the way they are I just think they squeak by. Juju is the piece that makes me lean Buffalo. The Bills were a team that many people thought were a product of their schedule, but after battling the Ravens close, and beating up on the Cowboys, Broncos and Dolphins, I think its time for some respect.
