Week 9

You know, Rutgers won this weekend! Who care’s if they only beat Liberty. A dub is a dub baby! I know I know … How are we going to fix Rutgers Football. The Professor, gave me the greatest idea, and I ran with it. But with them coming off a win, me being drained from a wedding on Sunday (Shout out Connor I love you bro so proud of you #FirstCollegeRoomie) and the World Series actually taking a lot of my attention, lets postpone that till next week! Oh and its Halloween tonight! So lets save the podcast so I can sleep at a reasonable time. I’ve had more coffee than water this work week!

Recap:
Tulsa +10.5 vs Memphis – HIT! Memphis 42 Tulsa 41
Nebraska PK vs Indiana – Miss. Indiana 38 Nebraska 31
Iowa -10.5 at Northwestern – HIT! Iowa 20 Nebraska 0
Bengals +13 vs Rams – Miss. Rams 24 Bengals 10
Texans -6.5 vs Raiders – Miss. Texans 27 Raiders 24
Jaguars -6 vs Jets – HIT! Jaguars 28 Jets 15
Last Week 3-3
NCAAF 13-13-1
NFL 15-9

Oklahoma State -3 vs TCU – Oklahoma State has been a little shaky as of late but got back on track last week. Oklahoma State has a dynamic offense, as long as the QB doesn’t turn the ball over. He does have 9 interceptions in 5 games so if he keeps it to 1 interception they should be golden. Running Back Chuba Hubbard is elite; he makes life easier for the QB and the offense. Their spread RPO is hard to navigate, but if we get a repeat performance as last week, TCU just wont be able to keep up at the end.
Oklahoma State 34 TCU 28

Florida State -3 vs Miami – Florida State is hitting there stride behind my guy Alex Hornibrook. He is nothing special but he gives his playmakers an opportunity. And Florida State has some dynamic playmakers! They are even running a little wildcat also to as I said let them speedsters loose. Miami is stout, they looked good week 1 versus Florida, but I don’t think they have enough this weekend! I’m very excited for this battle!
Florida State 28 Miami 23

Hawaii -2 vs Fresno State – this is for those who had a rough Saturday. To be honest, I hope that’s none of my viewers. But a wise man once said, when you are down there is always the Hawaii game! I like Hawaii and their air raid offense this week. Cole McDonald is a stud he slings it all around the field! The Fresno defense is pretty suspect as well, which makes me like Hawaii! Its never easy playing the Rainbow Warriors at their home turf!
Hawaii 38 Fresno State 34

Panthers -3.5 vs Titans – The Titans are 2-0 in games Tannehill has started and as I’ve been preaching, he should’ve been the opening day starter, but better late then never! Panthers are out for vengeance as they just got embarrassed Sunday at 49ers. Look for Kyle Allen to play for his job cause another dud and the start Cam noise will keep getting louder. This is do-or-die for both teams as 4-4 for the Panthers and 4-5 for the Titans could be too big of a hole to dig out of. We are talking about playoffs so give me the home team in this crucial NFL matchup.
Panthers 25 Titans 20

Bills -9.5 vs Redskins – Those last two Redskins covers were something! Both came in loses but wins to Vegas. That streak comes to an end on Sunday I think. Look, I don’t know if the Bills are you say “for real” as they beat bad teams – and will beat another bad team – but I think this is a great spot for them. The trade deadline passed I think they were anxious. Its time for Josh Allen and Dion Dawkins to look at the rest of the 53 and tell them this is what we got. Lets do this.
Bills 27 Redskins 13

Browns -3 at Broncos – I had a feeling the browns would be disappointing. It’s just a new ball game when you get that target ala Jaguars 2018. The Broncos are without “Elite Joe” Flacco and are starting Branden Allen. I know its year of the back up #MinshewMania but this is a four year journeyman, not a random rookie start up. Playing at Mile High is no easy task but the Browns frustration I’m thinking will turn to urgency. Personally I think Ravens win division – but they are playing the Pats this week so browns might be thinking a win Sunday and a ravens loss = only 2 game back in division. Its go time.
Browns 21 Broncos 14

Thank you,
Goose
