What’s up everybody! I promised to give you all the secret to fixing Rutgers football, but I recently just put out a NBA preview podcast, so I’m saving the Rutgers one for next week! It’s been a busy week and couldn’t get two pods in. So lets just cut to the chase, and run it!
If anyone wants a friendly challenge let me know! Pick 3 NCAAF / 3 NFL / all 6 game, and contact me! Let’s compete but not for money! We’ll figure out something good!

Florida State +2 at Wake Forest – Push. Wake Forest 22 Florida State 20.

Last Week 1-4-1
NCAAF 11-12-1
NFL 14-7
Tulsa +10.5 vs Memphis – Tulsa isn’t good per-say, but their four conference loses were against teams with a combined record of 9-1, and of course next up is Memphis who is 6-1 on the year and 2-1 in conference. Tulsa will host them, under the light Saturday night, before Memphis’s showdown with SMU next week. This is your typical trap game scenario and I believe Tulsa will keep it close. They are battle tested, home under the lights, before their opponent plays one of their biggest game’s of the year next week. Tulsa’s QB had five turnovers last week and still only lost 24-13. Fix that up and we have a ball game! Memphis 31 Tulsa 24
Nebraska PK vs Indiana – At one point, Nebraska is bound to cover against a team not named Northern Illinois. Nebraska sits at 1-6 ATS this year. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Albert Einstein On top of that, Indiana struggles to cover on the road. A small sample size, but college football has so much turnover, Indiana is 4-9 as a road team ATS. After Nebraska got steam rolled at Minnesota, they luckily got a bye week. A good coach allows the humbling and gets his team ready to fight the week after, and I think Coach Frost will do just that. Nebraska 27 Indiana 24
Iowa -10.5 at Northwestern – I’m not a big fan of doubling down having gone Iowa in last weeks edition, but their kicker made four 40 yard field goals. The chances were there, they just didn’t execute. They have another opportunity against another bad team, to bounce back. Northwestern is just having a hard time moving the ball at this moment, with both of their QBs throwing for a combined 2 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. We just need one or two of those field goals to turn to touchdowns for Iowa and we’ll be in good shape. Iowa 24 Northwestern 10
Bengals +13 vs Rams (London game) – London games are weird. We did just see Oakland travel cross county and across the pond to beat the Bears though. I see the Rams making that travel and winning, but I’m not so sure by more than 14. Despite the Bengals having the worst offensive line, the Rams are middle or the pack, to below average in run defense. The Bengals are also bad in run defense, so I expect the Rams to let Gurley finally loose, letting the clock tick away. To win by 14 is a lot in the NFL, and I don’t think the rams will do it two weeks in a row, after embarrassing the Falcons. Rams 30 Bengals 20
Texans -6.5 vs Raiders – When the Raiders lose this season, they lose big! In the three loses they lost by an average of 18 points. I don’t see the Texans losing two straight after losing to the Colts. I still cant fully figure out the Texans, they are one of the most up and down teams, but after the Raiders traded away their best cornerback, I think I can figure them out. The Raiders are rebuilding and need help on defense. Nuk Hopkins somewhat broke out last game, getting another 12 targets, 9 catches, 106 yards and a touchdown. But his average yards per catch has still been low. I think this changes on Sunday, and he helps propel them to a win. Texans 35 Raiders 24
Jaguars -6 vs Jets – UGHHHH! The Jets really aren’t that bad. Last week was their worst performance and I think many people expect a bounce back. Some key points in this show down. It is going to be hot and steamy in Duval Sunday! This historically gives the Jags an advantage right here. Last year when I went to the Jags Jets game in Jacksonville, it felt 105 degrees! It won’t be that how but I expect a similar slumped Jets. Also, they call the Jags Sacksonville for a reason. It’ll be day time so Darnold won’t see any ghosts, but he better get rid of the ball quickly cause the DLine will be coming! Jaguars 27 Jets 17
Thank you,
Goose
